Leather
Puglia is a full-grain, heavyweight leather that is entirely natural. The only colors utilized to create the leather's brown color are the crust color and many passes of extremely powerful pure aniline dyes. An aniline of a slightly deeper hue is used in the final spray treatment to give the leather's surface a subtle, distressed two-tone appearance. In other words, the leather is "wiped-off" to provide a contrast of colors utilizing the color scheme underneath. Small color variations, shifts in the grain, and faults in the hide are all present in Puglia leather, which demonstrates all the characteristics of good quality. It is then sealed with a mid-sheen after the leather has been surface-coated with a natural feel coat for a delicate, silky touch to heighten your senses.

Axis Hair on Hide:
Deer hide with all of the hair still present. Each hide has a characteristic dark line running down the middle, or backbone, with two adjacent, mirror-image white spots. 

AVOID using general-purpose leather cleaners, homemade concoctions, and household cleansers. If a spill occurs, gently blot the area with an absorbent, sterile, dry cloth. Spills and soiling should be removed immediately to avoid lasting discoloration on pure aniline leathers due to its lack of having a protective finish. To assist minimize fading, avoid positioning furniture directly in front of the sun.
