The saddles used by Mexican vaqueros are the ancestors of western saddles. Our handcrafted saddle bar stools have many of the same handcrafted elements found in authentic Western saddles. This unique handcrafted saddle bar stool has a body made of swell wood with a custom-made, embossed full grain leather backhouse cowboy saddle. A variety of full grain leathers, including patterned leather for the seat and flaps and genuine cowhide for the long branded fenders, are used to make the saddle seat. The low rear rim is adorned with genuine leather fringe, and the saddle is adorned with hand-forged slotted copper conchos that have a silver finish and latigo tie strings. A round, hand-forged iron medallion with floral motifs that is inlaid into the horn adds elaborate decoration. The saddle seat is secured and embellished by hand tacks and double stitched sewing patterns. The entire saddle seat securely rest on a hand turned wood trumpet pedestal, supported by four hand carved wood feet, and joined by a hand forged circular footrest. It swivels 180° and is 100% customizable.
