Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
Effective for all purchases made through Runyon’s Fine Furniture
At Runyon’s Fine Furniture, each piece we create or source is crafted with exceptional care, tailored to your preferences, and built to last. Because most of our furniture is made-to-order or customized to your preferences, our policies are designed to honor the craftsmanship and resources involved—while still offering fair and thoughtful solutions that put our customers first.
Custom Orders
Custom orders include any furniture item modified to your specifications—such as changes to size, leather, fabric, finish, or design. These pieces are created just for you and require signed acknowledgment before production begins.
- If canceled before production begins: Eligible for a full refund.
- If canceled after production begins: Eligible for store credit, minus a 25% restocking fee.
- After delivery: Custom and made-to-order pieces are not automatically eligible for return or exchange. However, we understand that each situation is unique — and we’re happy to review your request. Our team will evaluate all return or exchange requests on a case-by-case basis and determine the most appropriate resolution, which may include store credit, an exchange, or other accommodations.
Special Orders (Made As Shown)
Special orders refer to made-to-order pieces produced as shown, with no changes or customizations.
- If canceled before production begins: Eligible for a full refund.
- If canceled after production begins: Eligible for store credit, minus a 15% restocking fee.
- After delivery: Not automatically eligible for return. We will assess if a resolution, exchange, or store credit is possible.
Showroom Floor & In-Stock Items
- Returns are accepted within 72 hours of delivery, with approval, if the item is in original condition and packaging.
- Exchanges may be approved within 7 days, depending on availability and item condition.
- Store credit is encouraged for the fastest and most flexible resolution.
- Pickup and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We understand that sometimes a piece just doesn’t work in your space. Approved exchanges may be available for custom, special, or in-stock pieces. We will work with you to find the best resolution, and can provide quotes for any shipping or pickup services needed.
- Delivery and pickup fees apply unless there was a confirmed issue with your order.
- Store credit will be issued for any price differences.
Fit & Access Responsibility
Before placing your order, please ensure that all doorways, stairwells, hallways, and elevators can accommodate the piece. If the item cannot be delivered due to access limitations:
- It may be returned, subject to restocking and shipping fees.
- Store credit will be issued.
Delivery Damage or Incorrect Item Received
We take pride in ensuring your furniture arrives in excellent condition. Please inspect your delivery carefully and contact us within 48 hours if there are any issues.
To report damage or an incorrect item, email us at sales@runyonsfinefurniture.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
- A brief description of the problem
We’ll review the issue promptly and offer the best solution, which may include:
- A full repair (covered by us)
- A remake or exchange (fully covered)
- Other resolutions depending on the situation
Store Credit & Refunds
We want your experience with Runyon’s to be smooth, flexible, and fair. That’s why we often recommend store credit as a preferred option — it allows us to assist you more quickly and gives you full flexibility for future purchases.
That said, we understand that every situation is unique. If you’re unsure what applies to your order, we encourage you to submit a request. Our team will thoughtfully review the details and determine the best possible resolution — which may include a repair, remake, exchange, store credit, or refund.

Production & Delivery Timeline
- Production typically begins within 72 hours of your signed approval
- Transit to our warehouse adds approximately 1–2 weeks
- Each item is carefully inspected before it leaves our warehouse
- White-glove delivery may take an additional 1–2 weeks to coordinate, depending on your location
