Materials

Burnt Orange Two-Tone Full-Grain Aniline Leather

This is the highest grade of leather made: full-grain, the top layer of the hide left uncorrected, with nothing sanded or buffed away. Only the finest hides can be used this way — lesser hides have to be sanded and coated to hide their flaws. Here, the natural grain, markings, and character remain fully intact.

The burnt orange color is set with pure aniline dye, which soaks into the leather rather than sitting on top as surface paint — the most demanding way to finish a hide, and the reason the grain stays visible and dimensional. A deeper finish layer settles into the grain for a soft two-tone depth, sealed with a light silky topcoat that adds a gentle gloss and everyday protection.

Leather like this doesn’t wear out — it wears in, deepening in character and patina over a lifetime of use. It’s the standard we hold for our finest custom pieces.

Leather Characteristics:

  • Grain Type: Full-Grain Aniline — the highest leather grade
  • Visual Effect: Shadowed Two-Tone Depth, Natural Grain Visible
  • Color: Burnt Orange with Earthy Undertones
  • Feel: Smooth, Lightly Sealed, Supple
  • Sheen Level: Soft Medium Gloss

Jumbo Crocodile Embossed Accent Leather — Walnut

Leather embossed with an oversized, jumbo crocodile pattern in a warm Walnut brown — deep espresso settling into the recesses, warmer caramel across the raised tiles. The large scale gives the surface strong dimension and depth, well suited as an accent on custom Western pieces such as dining chairs, executive seating, and panel or border detailing.

Why Don't Product Colors Match What I See on my Screen?

We do our best to portray all of our products as accurately as possible, but the colors of our custom leathers and upholstery may differ slightly in person from how they appear online. This is due to disparities in display devices. Colors typically appear brighter or more intense when viewed on a screen, and images can also vary from screen to screen based on the brightness settings and color calibration of your device. We do our best to ensure that all of our product photos are color calibrated and as accurate as possible. If you are concerned about the color(s) of a particular piece, please give us a call at (817) 490-0082. We are happy to answer all of your questions and will ensure that you are happy with your purchase.

NOTICE: Variations in grain, texture, and color distinguish 100% top-grain cowhide leather. Expected healed scars and markings only adds to the skins' inherent beauty. These differences are characteristic of genuine 100% top grain cowhide leather and should not be perceived as flaws.
