Hand-Selected Solid Wood & Painted Finishes
This buffet is expertly crafted from solid tropical hardwoods indigenous to Peru, including Mohena and Tornillo — medium-weight species prized for their durability, smooth grain, and resistance to warping. All wood is carefully kiln-dried and treated for longevity before entering the carving and construction stages.
The piece is shown here in our Rustic Cielo finish — a soft, hand-layered blue-gray patina with warm undertones and visible distressing. This finish is created through an intensive, multi-step painting process that builds texture, depth, and character into every panel, corner, and carved surface.
Each finish is applied entirely by hand using traditional methods. Because of this, no two pieces are ever alike — slight variations in tone, texture, and distressing are part of what make your piece unique. Additional painted finishes are available by request.
