Every piece in this collection is bench-made one at a time by master artisans, on a kiln-dried solid hardwood frame finished entirely by hand. Heirloom-grade construction meets the comfort of eight-way hand-tied spring suspension and pocketed-coil cushioning — and because it's made to order, the leather, hide, and dimensions are specified to suit your space.

Design & Craftsmanship Highlights

  • Kiln-dried solid hardwood frame – Solid hardwood with hardwood laminates in shaped areas; corner-blocked joints glued and stapled for maximum strength.
  • Eight-way hand-tied suspension – Every seat coil is hand-tied in eight directions with heavy cord for even, lasting support.
  • Pocketed-coil cushions – Marshall-coil seat cores cradled in resilient foam and wrapped in a channeled feather-and-fiber blend, for plush seating that holds its shape far better than plain foam.
  • Hand-set upholstery – Bench-made one piece at a time, with hand-set pleats and rolls and meticulous stitching throughout, from decorative top-stitching to supportive baseball stitching.
  • Hand-antiqued finish – A multi-step, hand-applied antiquing process gives each piece a timeworn, heirloom character all its own.
  • Power reclining (Power family only) – A powered mechanism adjusts the seat and headrest at the touch of a button; a non-powered version is available with the same frame and finish.

Materials

Full-Grain North American Bison Leather — Walnut

Full-grain North American bison, traditionally tanned in the USA and finished in a warm Walnut brown. Waxes and oils give it a natural pull-up effect, so the surface lightens wherever the leather bends or folds — a distressed, lived-in look across a rustic, smooth grain.

The light wax finish adds everyday stain resistance, and the leather softens with use, developing a deeper patina over time.
