Sycamore is a full-grain buffalo leather that embodies warmth, richness, and timeless character. Chrome-tanned and finished with a waxed aniline treatment, it highlights the hide’s natural grain and delivers a dramatic pull-up effect — a luxurious leather with a soft hand, visual depth, and organic surface variation.

Extensively milled for added softness, Sycamore develops a lived-in patina that only grows more beautiful with age. Crafted for custom upholstery on heirloom-quality Western furniture, it brings together artisan craftsmanship, comfort, and lasting durability.

SMOOTH LEATHER:

Dust and vacuum regularly, working into seams and crevices where grit collects. Wipe with a barely damp cloth and let it dry naturally, away from heat and sunlight. Damp, never wet. Avoid household cleaners, solvents, saddle soap, and household oils, all of which strip or darken the finish. Test any product in a hidden area first. Where the leather is smooth and conditionable, condition roughly every four to six months, and sooner if it starts to feel dry or stiff. Contact us before choosing a cleaner or conditioner for your piece.

HAIR-ON HIDE:

Vacuum gently on a low setting, always in the direction the hair lies. Where debris needs more than suction, brush with the hair using a soft, clean bristle brush. Do not use leather conditioner on hair-on hide. Avoid harsh cleaners, excessive moisture, and aggressive rubbing. If cleaning is necessary, spot-clean the affected area with a damp cloth only and let it dry naturally away from heat. Contact us before applying any product.
