To spot clean, we advise using a straightforward soap and water mixture. Do not use abrasive cleaning chemicals. Instead, use one part mild soap, such as Ivory or Dawn dish soap, with three parts water. Water from the tap or distilled works just fine! Remember that while the stain may appear worst on the day of the incident, it will gradually diffuse through the protein fibers of the hide and eventually take on the appearance of the hide.
