The artisians works closely with these incredible weavers, focusing the color palette and design combinations to meet the ever changing world of interior design and decorating. Their long term partnerships in the weaving village have produced a process of color selection and design flexibility that enables the customization and addition of personal touch to each uniquely woven piece.

The designs of our rugs have multiple origins. The Zapotec Indians have many original designs inspired by ancient architectural emblems and symbols prevelant throughout their native lands.  Influence from other North American Indians such as the Navajo, Hopi etc have influenced the global weaving community as well.
